Development of fusion products on partially supplemented media containing aneurin (left) or inositol (right) using the improved selection techniques. Fused protoplasts were plated onto cellophane discs on SMG containing the appropriate supplements and incubated at 25^oC for 4 days. The cellophanes were then transferred to non-stabilized medium and incubated for a further 8 days.
